The Blue House

The location

The Blue House develops both on the ground floor (entrance, garden and gazebo) and on the first floor (internal spaces) of Villa of Colors.

It is located right in the center of the island. All shops and restaurants can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes and the port of Favignana in just 15 minutes. The southern coast of the island, 800 m away and always sheltered when the mistral blows, can be reached in about 10 minutes. With sirocco wind, the Plaia beach is sheltered, located about 500 m to the north, next to the Tonnara Florio.

The map in the figure indicates how to reach Blue House on foot or by car from the port of Favignana. By car you must follow the red itinerary while on foot follow the light blue itinerary (approximately 800 m).

The entrance includes a large area, immediately after the independent gate, shaded by an olive tree, very convenient for parking bicycles which are almost essential in Favignana.

The exclusive garden is characterized by a relax area in the shade of the Cocus trees, a gazebo area for dining outside and a very comfortable outdoor shower for cooling off when returning from the sea.

In the shade of the Cocus trees you can relax in a comfortable hammock

which, together with the deckchairs, allows you for the well-deserved afternoon nap you need to work off the grilled fish especially if invariably washed down with local white wine.

The comfortable Kartell sofa also provides its valid contribution to fully enjoying your holiday, far from everyday stress.

The large gazebo allows you to dine outdoors

with grilled fish or meat without problems due to the spread of fumes or bad smells.

In the same area you can easily have breakfast.

A comfortable shower, complete with hot water, is available outside. You can immediately get rid of sand and salt without having to enter the house.

The internal spaces

The internal rooms are located on the upper floor of Villa dei Colori and guarantee a standard accommodation of 5 people and a maximum of 6 (using the living room sofa).

Access to the living area is from the garden via a door

that leads to the upper floor via an internal staircase.

The first room is composed of a large living room,

inside which there is a dining table

and a reading/relaxation area

with a comfortable Kartell sofa that can also be used as a sofa bed.

In the background you can see the French window leading to a first external balcony.

The north-facing balcony is always shaded and is well suited to lunches and dinners without the need to go down into the garden.

The view is airy and free in the view.

The supply of crockery is particularly rich and in keeping with the name of the house.

The living area is completed by the kitchenette,

always well lit by a south-facing window

equipped with a four-burner hob, recently replaced for safety reasons by an induction hob,

and a large two-compartment refrigerator.

A comfortable hallway leads to the bathroom equipped with toilet, bidet, sink and shower.

In the anteroom area there is a laundry corner equipped with a vertical loading washing machine and a drain for hand washing.

The first bedroom houses a double king-size bed

at the foot of which there is a comfortable wardrobe.

The cute lampshade is characteristic of the unconventional furnishings that characterize the house.

From the large French window, protected by a horizontally sliding mosquito net, you access a second balcony exposed on the West side

which is well suited to relaxation for guests in the double bedroom

as well as providing a priceless view of Mount Santa Caterina.

The second bedroom is multipurpose; it can be equipped to accommodate two single beds which, if necessary, become a king-size double bed. A third single bed can be placed in the room or preferably in the living room.

The southern exposure makes the room particularly bright and airy from the French window which also leads to a small external balcony overlooking the neighboring fields.

The interior plan

The house consists of a sleeping area which includes the two bedrooms and the bathroom and a living area consisting of the living room and the kitchenette.

The amenities

Blue House is equipped with air conditioning, wardrobe and bedside tables in both bedrooms, a double bed, two/three single beds or a second double bed, Samsung 32" LED terrestrial TV, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, crockery/cutlery/glasses, kitchen/bathroom/bed linen, washing machine, fridge with freezer, 4 burner hob, stainless steel kitchen sink and external marble sink, barbecue, Kartell outdoor sofa with 2 armchairs, double deckchairs, hammock, dining table and chairs in the gazebo area, breakfast table and chairs on the external balcony, dining table and chairs in the internal living room, internal shower and external shower, solarium area in the garden.

There is a latest generation inverter summer-winter air conditioning system in the bedrooms, even if its use is necessary sporadically thanks to the presence of a thermal coat that keeps the rooms always fresh.

Domestic hot water is generated in an ecological way via solar panels.
